On the agenda

Speaking live can always be tricky and create anxiety, but the task may be even more demanding if you're speaking to international listeners and therefore in English. This workshop examines tools for presenting your topic (and yourself) impressively in English and gives you a chance to practice these tools actively.

By the end of the workshop, you will have gained insights into how to:

  • start your talk impressively;
  • structure content to keep listeners on track;
  • use your voice to contribute to your message;
  • and handle a variety of spontaneous questions from the audience.

The overall goal is to explore methods and principles which you can apply to a wide range of presentation situations and to increase your confidence when delivering a talk in English. The workshop is very interactive and is held in English.

Note: The workshop is very interactive and is held in English.

This online workshop is free and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
