On the agenda

John Holland's typology has been widely applied in the career choice process for many decades. Still, this typology justifies its existence and with its help many people gain a broader understanding of themselves and of their best suitability in the professional field. John Holland's idea is, first of all, to understand how a person functions: what motivates him, inspires him, what actions are good at, and vice versa - what environment and "rules of the game" do not create a desire, energy and motivation to act.

Secondly, John Holland calls for an understanding of the essence of different professions - what actions should be taken, what environment is in the field of a particular profession and what daily routine is required by specific professions. Having learned these aspects, there is an opportunity to search for and find the most suitable profession for yourself in the labor market.

At the seminar, we will talk about the types of personalities defined in John Holland's typology, their most characteristic features and suitability for different industries and professions with the aim of recognizing themselves.
You will also be offered the opportunity to complete the test to find out your suitability for different industries and professions.

This online workshop is free and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
