Über das Event

Are you wondering what happens with your application after you hit the “apply” button? Have you ever wondered why your application disappears into the void? Applying for jobs can feel frustrating, especially when you don’t get a response or receive a rejection without feedback. But what really happens behind the scenes in HR and recruiting departments? How do hiring processes work, and why do some applications get rejected while others move forward?

Objectives: Students will gain exclusive insights from a former recruiter and learn how the application process works on “the other side”. Through interactive exercises, you will develop practical strategies to stay motivated, refine your application process, and position yourself as a strong candidate. By the end of this workshop, you’ll not only understand how hiring decisions are made, but also have actionable steps to boost your chances of success and confidently navigate the job application process.

Contents:

•    How Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) work and why companies rely on them.
•    Key factors that determine whether an application is shortlisted or rejected.
•    Challenges recruiters face and why feedback is often limited (but how you can still try to get some feedback).
•    How to improve your application strategy and build better communication with recruiters.

Language: English
