In the competitive German job market, having a CV that captures the attention of employers is crucial. Especially as an international student who is currently looking for their first job in Germany. This workshop is designed to help students create professional, eye-catching CVs that highlight their skills, experience, and unique qualities effectively.

Objectives: Students will get to know the specific requirements and expectations for CVs in Germany, including the preferred format, structure, and content. They will learn how to present their personal brand through their CV, ensuring it reflects their strengths, values, and career aspirations. By the end, they will understand how recruiters scan their CV and what they focus on.

Speaker: Laura Villafuerte is originally from Ecuador and moved to Germany when she was 18 to study International Management in Germany. After finishing her studies in 2014, she started working in HR for a multinational corporation in Germany and gained valuable insights into the HR world. In 2021 she founded CareerBee, where she uses her insider HR knowledge to help international talents find jobs in Germany.
