Searching a job usually is the first step on the way to a fulfilling career. But where can you search for jobs and how can you find jobs if they are not advertised? In this workshop, we will develop strategies and techniques for searching for suitable jobs. You will get a good overview of the best channels and ways to find a job in an efficient way.

Objectives: Students will get to know the best platforms for their job search and learn how they can use the hidden job market to their advantage or when unsolicited applications can be useful. They will get a glimpse behind the scenes of the recruiting process and learn, which application channels employers use.

Language: English

Speaker: Carolyn Litzbarski is a trainer, coach and counsellor. In addition to a Master's degree in Social Management, she is a certified systemic counsellor and stress prevention trainer. She works as an online coach on topics such as the application process, reorientation and conflict management.

The International Career Service Rhine-Main (ICS RM) offers international students and students with a history of migration from universities in the Rhine-Main region various workshops and events to support them in taking advantage of job opportunities in the Rhine-Main region and launching a dream career in the region. To this end, the colleges and universities in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Wiesbaden and Mainz are cooperating as your interface to the regional job market and start-up ecosystem.
