On the agenda

The University of Opole (UO), Poland, is hosting the fourth edition of the FORTHEM Summer School for Teachers and Teacher Education Students between June 22 and 26, 2026.

We would like to sincerely invite you to explore the Frontiers in Education together, in a multicultural and multinational environment, in the spirit of joint and mutual learning as well as collaboration!

By popular demand, for the first time ever, the Summer School will be held in a hybrid format! This way, we aim to broaden the spectrum of our debate and allow you to contribute to our activities no matter your mobility options, both on-site and online.

Likewise, we are expanding the participants’ profile of the Summer School even further, and we are extending our invitation to the Summer School to the university lecturers.

Our Summer School will focus on the exploration of the frontiers in a variety of areas of education. In particular, we aim to explore the fields of: Gamification, Lifelong Learning, Online Learning, Moodle Courses, and Economics, among others.
We truly believe that the variety of topics covered in the proposed programme will cater to the needs of every one of you and allow you to further broaden your professional horizons.

We aim to achieve the above by inviting you to participate in a series of interactive workshops and activities, debates, discussions, group activities, lectures, and external visits, certainly not forgetting about having some fun time off together during several social events to be held in the evenings.
