You found an interesting job offer or possibility for an internship in Germany and now have to prepare your written application, but....
- What types of applications are common in Germany?
- What kind of documents do I need to prepare?
- What standards do I need to follow when applying to a German employer?
- How do I prepare a convincing resume/CV that increases my chances to get hired?
In our interactive workshop we will address these and other topics through a mixture of presentation and group work, so please make sure that you can use your microphone and camera. We will also answer your individual questions in order to help you prepare a successful application and get that job!
The workshop is organized and held by experts with years of experience in the field of career orientation and counselling, both from the Career Service of Mainz University as well as the Federal Employment Agency of Germany.
Thomas Kording- Career Service of JGU
Antje Colaci - Agentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency of Germany)
This online workshop is free, held in English and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
A good addition to this course is our workshop in the afternoon of the same day: "How to write a convincing cover letter”. Register for both and be fully prepared for your application.
