The Elastic Elevator-Pitch for Early-Career Researchers

Über das Event
You want to spark enthusiasm for your work and for you as a researcher when speaking with interviewers and potential research partners. But they don't have much time to listen. Our workshop focuses on how to convey an impression of your work and of yourself which is positive, compelling and fast and on conveying it both to those who are from your research area (e.g., at conferences) as well as to those who aren't (e.g., in interviews for jobs lateral to research). Conceived mainly for doctoral candidates, the workshop nonetheless offers benefits to students at any stage who conduct their own research. The workshop is held in English and participation requires an intermediate level of English or above.
This online workshop is highly interactive which is why you require a working camera and microphone.
It is free and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance - regardless of their study program or academic progress -and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
