In your personal, academic and professional life, you face situations where it is essential that you express your thoughts, needs and boundaries clearly, confidently and respectfully. This interactive online workshop will provide you with the mindset and tools to help you communicate assertively and confidently in different contexts.
Based on trainer input, reflection, practical exercises and real-world examples, the workshop will cover:
- Defining assertiveness
- Identifying your own communication style
- The language of assertiveness
- Dealing with pushback using non-violent communication
- The role of body language
- Giving and receiving feedback constructively
- Applying assertiveness to real-world scenarios
- My personal action plan: goal setting
The workshop consists of two sessions: Tuesday, October 7 and Thursday, October 9 2025; each Session: 9:00 - 12:30 CET
This online workshop is free and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance - regardless of their study program or academic progress -and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
