Über das Event

You are looking to do an internship or work in Germany and are looking for a suitable position...but where do I begin to look? How do I design the research as effectively as possible? What are the general possibilities for a job search, and which ones are relevant for me at all?

This course addresses these questions in a practice-oriented manner and offers the chance to get to know previously unnoticed possibilities. You will learn simple but efficient techniques to creatively come up with industries and companies that can help you. The aim is to gain new impulses for your own job search in Germany. In addition, you will learn to identify job profiles and analyze job advertisements so that you will find the position that best suits you.

The course is organized and held by experts with years of experience in the field of career orientation and counselling, both from the Career Service of Mainz University as well as the Federal Employment Agency of Germany.

Dennis Voll - Career Service of JGU
Doreen Zillinger - Agentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency of Germany)

This online course is free, held in English and open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance and you can receive a certificate of participation upon request.
