Creating Support Against Racism – Developing strategies for effective fundraising
Civic Engagement Project by the Career Service of JGU
How can creative communication inspire young people to support the fight for democracy and against racism?
Help us find out and volunteer in our international student project with the Stiftung gegen Rassismus, the organization behind Germany’s International Weeks Against Racism!
Together with an interdisciplinary and international group of students you can develop a communication campaign aimed at engaging young audiences to support the work against racism. From (social) media concepts and campaign strategy to storytelling and content creation – this project gives you the chance to work on a real-world challenge while gaining practical experience in communication, marketing, fundraising, nonprofit work, and project development. And you can improve your intercultural and English skills on top.
The project runs from June–September 2026 and combines online collaboration with an in-person project week in Mainz (most likely in September). It is open to all JGU students and students from the FORTHEM Alliance, regardless of their study programs or degree level.
Join and help us!
